Description:  (1881 - 1973) Spanish Painter and Sculptor
My newest work, *Pablo Picasso*, explores the boldness and intensity I associate with one of modern art’s most influential figures. This portrait focuses on a man whose face is shaped by sharp, angular lines and high-contrast shading, crafted with a limited palette of vivid oranges and deep blacks. Against a solid glowing orange background, the subject’s gaze holds a powerful presence, inviting viewers to engage with his fierce expression.
The man wears a black beret and a scarf wrapped around his neck—a nod to creative spirit and bohemian style that feels both personal and iconic. The composition strips away detailed realism to emphasize emotional impact, blending expressionism with graphic art in a way that highlights form and feeling over literal representation.

*Pablo Picasso* draws directly from the artist himself for inspiration, but rather than aiming for a straightforward likeness, the piece captures the energy and attitude that Picasso’s work and persona embody. It’s a portrait meant to provoke thought through its intensity and simplicity, spotlighting the force of character through striking color and shape.

The process of creating this portrait leaned into contrast—balancing the strength of its colors and the clarity of its lines to produce an image that is at once vivid and restrained. It was a chance to focus on emotional resonance through minimal elements, achieving a bold, graphic presence that feels immediate.

With *Pablo Picasso*, I wanted to present not just a face but a symbol of creativity and boldness—an invitation to look beyond surface detail and connect with the enduring spirit of artistic vision
